[ Tsurugi shows up not too long after agreeing to meet her -- he's fast, and it's not like he hasn't figured out the quickest routes through the city by now. The only delay had been him trying to find something moderately decent to wear.

It had been harder than he realized. He hadn't done laundry in ages, much less bothered to take care of anything kind of formal. He'd managed, at the last minute, to find a nice dress shirt, so while he didn't have the slacks to go with it, he had something. ]

When the origami flower is held out for her to take she gives him an audible gasp, plucking it from him to hold closer to get a better look at it. It's better than anything she could ever make and the fact he made it for her has her cheeks turning red.]}

[ She seems to, so Tsurugi relaxes slightly. There's something nervewracking about giving a gift he doesn't think will mean anything. ]
