She might not know about me just yet, but have you told her about fangstasy? Perhaps it would be easier to digest, so to speak, to someone who is more idealistic and heroic. Considering that instead of having to 'steal' the blood of another, she can be paired with someone who willingly gives it up.
Considering the people of this world, maybe it will lessen a little with time. There are others sort of like us. Maybe that will broaden her acceptance for herself.
