[She watches him carefully as he seems to talk to the little creature in her hands. When he does it seems to relax enough for her to stroke it.]
Oh...it's neat that you can speak with them. I wonder if you could understand Charlotte. I talk to her sometimes.
[Does she understand the little bat? Sort of. Not entirely. Doesn't stop her from squeaking at it.]
